Sequential Coding and Decoding for Discrete Communication Sources,

Abstract

This paper investigates a method of direct sequential coding of production from a Markov-type discrete information source into input symbols of a channel without memory and the sequential decoding of the output sequence directly into symbols of the source at the output.
