The AVK-2 Analog Computer System: Structure and Basic Technical Characteristics,
Abstract
The AVK-2 analog computer system offers wide flexibility in setting up analog problems of varying scale through the capability of patching together standardized computing modules. The system, whose principal subsystems and operations are briefly described in this paper, can perform from 20 to 1000 basic operations simultaneously. Design techniques have allowed high speed and accuracy to be attained while using cheap, low-precision components.
