Optical Image Recording on Magnetic Tapes with Band Domains at the Point of Coercive Force,

Abstract

A new method of optical image recording on magnetic tapes is described. When segments of the tape are heated, the coercive force decreases and a change of width of band domains occurs. A recording field is applied to the tape, and this enables better results to be obtained.
