Study of Steering Efforts on a Cross Country Vehicle with Controlled Air Pressure,
Abstract
The study was conducted to determine dependency of steering efforts on air pressure in the tires. Readings were taken with the front wheels suspended, stopped on a hard surface and with the vehicle in motion, both with the hydraulic steering booster in operation and disengaged. (Author)
