Wastewater Survey, Chanute AFB, Illinois.

Abstract

The report contains the results of a wastewater survey conducted in May 1973 at Chanute AFB IL. Physical, chemical, and biological sampling and analysis of the base's sewage treatment facilities and receiving stream were accomplished. Extensive modification or a new treatment facility is required to comply with local discharge standards which require as little as 4 mg/l BOD5 and 5 mg/l suspended solids in the effluent. (Author)
