The Thermodynamic Properties of Air,

Abstract

In the present work specific volumes of air in the interval of pressures from 20 to 700 bar at temperatures from 20 to 600C were measured. Measurements were conducted by the method of constant-volume piezometer with a mercury seal extended into a cold zone. The quantity of air was determined by the weighing of isolated bottles of air.
