Remote-Terminal Emulator (Design Verification Model)-Support Software and Hardware Diagnostics,

Abstract

The Remote-Terminal Emulator is a minicomputer-based system which generates message loads for use in testing and evaluating large-scale multiterminal computer systems. This series of reports will describe the fixed-site and on-site Design Verification Models that were developed on Data General NOVA 800 minicomputers. This report describes MITRE-designed support programs and hardware diagnostics used in the development of the Design Verification Model. Also identified are the vendor-supplied support programs and diagnostics. (Author)
