GUERAP II - User's Guide

Abstract

This report describes a General Unwanted Energy Rejection Analysis Program (GUERAP). In addition to being a user's guide for the program, the report presents the theory behind the program. A deterministic approach to stray light computation is presented in terms of: (1) Differential ray trace methods (2) A ray theory of diffraction (3) A set of perturbative view factor matrices which allow the more important stray light effects to be calculated first. Some experimental verification of the calculated results is presented, as well as a description of how to use the program.
