Modular Digital Missile Guidance System Study.

Abstract

This report addresses the feasibility and application of modular digital computers for the guidance function for several classes of air to air missile. Functional requirements, design techniques and algorithms for performing sensor track and stabilization, filtering and estimation, guidance and vehicle control are defined. The requirements imposed upon a digital implementation are determined in terms of throughput, memory and architecture. (Author)
