A Proposal for a Visual Input Routine,
Abstract
This paper contains a proposal for a visual input routine suitable for use with hand-eye coordination programs. The output of the program is a list of the objects seen with a description including the coordinates of the corners and the edges and plane figures which they form. If it is desired to be able to refer to the objects by name, the program can also classify the objects according to descriptions of types of objects which are placed in the program by the user.
