The Electroencephalogram in Vascular Lesions of the Brain in Patients in a Neurosurgical Clinic,

Abstract

The subject of the report is the characteristic aspects of the electroencephalogram in vascular lesions of the brain in which the question of the possibility of surgical treatment arises. Such diseases primarily include various aneurysms of the blood vessels of the brain. The report presents information related to the observation that in the neurosurgical clinic the EEG data in vascular pathology of the brain can serve as a valuable additional method of investigating the patient when establishing accurate neurological diagnosis. The role of the EEG in investigating these types of pathology of the brain, in our point of view, is no less important than in the case of tumor diseases.
