Engineer Design Test XM59.50 Caliber Machinegun Pintle Mounted on UH-1D Helicopter.

Abstract

The Aircraft Weaponization Project Manager directed the development of a .50 caliber machinegun door mount installation on the UH-1D Helicopter. US Army Test and Evaluation Command test directive directs that the US Army Aviation Test Board determine if the subsystem is safe to send to RVN for evaluation.
