Multiple Fault Gas Path Analysis Applied to TF30-P-408 Engine Data.

Abstract

This report presents the results of a study made to demonstrate the validity and versatility of gas path Analysis as applied to multiple fault gas turbine engine diagnostics. Actual engine test data at static and simulated Mach number conditions is used. From eleven diagnostic systems considered, the two best systems are presented as Fortran IV Subroutines for use by NAPTC. Results based on both empirical and theoretical considerations are presented.
