Propellant Test Report, LGM-30 A and B, Stage II, Phase VI, Series IV ANP-2862 and ANP-2684.
Abstract
This report describes and sets forth the results of testing on cartons of bulk propellant representing LGM-30A and LGM-30B Stage 2 Minuteman Motors. Both ANP-2864 (Inner) and ANP-2862 (Outer) propellants were tested. Linear Regression plots are included for most parameters tested. Where data are not entered in the G085 System, they are included in tabular form in this report. A number of trends appear which can be described as statistically significant, and some may call for extensive study in the future. However, none of the trends give cause for alarm that the propellant may fail soon, and the recommendation is made that the service life be extended to 13 years. (Author)
