Environmental Survey of the Phoenix Island - Central Pacific Ocean.
Abstract
The purpose of this survey was to conduct an extensive biological and engineering study of Canton, Hull and Enderbury Islands of the Phoenix Group in order to provide environmental information to meet SAMSO operational requirements, to supplement the SAMSO/SAMTEC Candidate Environmental Statement concerning use of the islands, and to support joint United States-United Kingdom agreements concerning the protection of these islands.
