Electronic Structure of Hard Superconductors.
Abstract
The work on MoS2 has contributed strongly to major revisions of the widely accepted bond models for the layered dichaldogenides. Work on Nb, determining the electronic structure and establishing procedures for cleaning the surface, has been completed. Preliminary data on high transition temperature alloys have been obtained. The development of a technique for cleaning Nb makes it possible to perform meaningful studies on high temperature Nb based superconductors. (Author)
