Bench Tests of Hydraulic Steering System,
Abstract
A requirement existed to improve the steering mechanism performance in the 44-foot motor life boat. Project S22-2 was established to test and evaluate the components of a small hydraulic system using a bench set-up rather than an actual boat installation.
