X bar and R-Charts through Biased Sampling.

Abstract

A technique of using the rejected pieces from an automated, 100 percent, inspection station is developed for the purpose of obtaining control charts. Equations for the reject population mean and variance are developed and used for calculating X bar-charts and R-charts. (Modified author abstract)
