Experimental Evaluation of the Modular Fast Food Service Facility at Travis AFB

Abstract

A brief description and preliminary results of the evaluation of a new food service concept developed for the Air Force are discussed, including facility design and equipment, menu, operation and performance. It is concluded that this concept meets the desired objectives of improved performance and effectiveness, and provides for a high degree of customer participation and satisfaction. It is recommended that the Air Force and the other military services consider application of this concept to their food service requirements.
