Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS) for the Allis Chalmers 645M Military Front End Loader.
Abstract
Two commercial Roll Over Protective Structures (ROPS) have been identified which are suitable for retrofit onto military Allis Chalmers 645M Front End Loaders and are compliant with SAE Practice J394a. One of the ROPS was designed to avoid relocation of equipment installed on the military vehicle. Test Report to show compliance of this ROPS with SAE requirements is included as are installation times and installation procedures for both ROPS. (Author)
