Radial Beam Microwave Amplifier,

Abstract

The Radial Beam Microwave Amplifier (RBMA) is a new class of printed circuit TWT's that can operate with voltages less than 300 colts. The important features of this amplifier such as multi-octave bandwidth, low voltage operation, low cost, and compact size were shown. The prime military applications for this device and possible civilian applications were pointed out.
