Acoustic Velocity Correlator.

Abstract

The object of the program is to determine the feasibility of implementing the velocity correlator network of a Pulse Burst Processor System using acoustic surface waves. The acoustic velocity correlator is a network of multiple tapped delay lines which corrects the Doppler time shifts of the output signals from a pulse burst correlator tapped delay line and sums the corrected signals in a single Doppler velocity channel. A 20 MHz bandwidth prototype device was developed during the first phase of the program. (Modified author abstract)
