Lithium-Carbon Monofluoride Organic Electrolyte Manpack Battery.

Abstract

The purpose of this contract was to conduct research and development leading to the design and construction of a long-life, organic electrolyte battery for manpack equipment. The requirements cover a high energy density primary lithium battery capable of good low temperature performance at high power levels.
