Local Civil Defense Directors in Action: Selection and Action.

Abstract

The report is the last of a five-part series which presents the initial questions and responses of items related to selection and activity obtained from a national sample of local civil defense director/coordinators. The report presents through the use of simple descriptive statistics content areas which include: Methods of selection; opinions concerning the effect of training on completion of tasks, the relative importance of tasks, and the future necessity of training activities; and emergency activities and community support. Secondly, the report also contains the questions, item format, codes utilized in the initial data analysis, and a glossary of statistical terms used in the report. (Author)
