Analysis of the Operation of a Bank with Stored Energy of 625 KJ in a Physical Model,

Abstract

The article includes an analysis of operation of a 625 KJ low-voltage bank model containing KIMS-1 type low-inductance capacitors in parallel and parallel-series connection. Table 1 gives the data on choice of model scale by voltage according to connecting circuit, and Table 2 gives the values of inductance and capacitance of the bank model. Also included is a discussion of oscillograms of voltage in the parallel circuit and of voltage in the load with cables of equal and various lengths.
