A Thermoelectric Instrument for Control Testing of Materials and Products,

Abstract

A thermoelectric device for the non-destructive testing of ferrous and non-ferrous metal components is described. The instrucment offers greater control accuracy through the use of an additional thermocouple and differential circuitry to compensate for the heating of the cold electrode. A further mechanical improvement over previous designs is the incorporation of an easily positioned spring-loaded electrode.
