Acoustic Ray-Tracing and Propagation-Loss Computations on a Mini-Computer.

Abstract

Details are given of the derivation of formulae for the solution of the wave equations on a mini-computer, using a linear segment approximation to the sound-speed profile. A method is described for calculating the total propagation loss, and a brief description of the computer program used is given. (Author)
