Distribution of Duration and Intensity of Precipitation in the USSR,

Abstract

A study of distribution and duration of intensity of precipitation in the USSR shows that the average intensity is small. Precipitation over the European territory of the Soviet Union is more intense than over the Asiatic territory of the USSR, with a few exceptions. Maps are given which help to show the data on various time intervals throughout the year. (Modified author abstract)
