The Flow Chart Produced by the PILER System.

Abstract

The PILER System is an automatic translating system which creates an operational program for a target computer, using a program operable on a source computer for problem definition. At the end of the second stage of the translation process, the Analyzer run, a flow chart of the subject program is produced along with a description of the data used in the original version of the subject program. The flow chart may be the end product of a PILER run, providing uniform documentation of programs. It may be used to check that the Analyzer properly interpreted the subject program.
