Determination of Maximum Permissible Concentration of Benzo(a)pyrene in the Atmosphere of Populated Areas (K Obosnovaniyu Predelno Dopustimoi Kontsentratsii Benz(a)Pirena v Atmosfernom Vozdukhe Naselenykh Mest),

Abstract

Experimental studies and mathematical calculations on the basis of probability theory and plotting of a graph of the logarithmic relation are used to determine the permissible dose of benz(a)pyrene, in administration to the respiratory organs of animals. Extrapolation of the experimental data to the human body permits recommendation of an average daily maximum permissible concentration of benz(a)pyrene in the air of populated places at a level of 0.01 micrograms/100 cum.
