Abstract

This report describes an application of the Hoffman HSPP-1 Solar Converter as a potential power source for minor aids to navigation. This project and report's purpose is to study solar cells as a potential source for minor lights, and to define conditions under which the use of solar cells in aids to navigation would be economical.
