Fathometer Survey and Foundation Investigation Scotland Light Structure New York Harbor Entrance.

Abstract

The studies reported here were made in connection with plans of the United States Coast Guard to replace a number of lightships in coastal waters by permanent structures. This report covers investigations made in the vicinity of Scotland Light Vessel, near the entrance to the south channel in the New York Harbor area.
