Across-Time Prediction of the Performance of Airman Administrators and Mechanics.

Abstract

The study is concerned with the reliability and validity of supervisor ratings made on airmen in two career ladders, the Administration Specialist (702X0/70490) and the Aircraft Mechanic (431X1/43190). The purpose of the study was to determine if either overall performance ratings or trait ratings are predictive over a considerable lapse of time, preferably over an interval which would embrace a change in the airman's supervisor.
