On-Line Data Analysis with a Hybrid Computer.
Abstract
The capability of a previously developed hybrid data analysis package was extended by the development of a frequency detector circuit and a peak detector circuit which provided interrupts to the digital computer at the instant of each local extremum in an analog signal; a digital program was developed to plot histograms of the time intervals between the detected extrema and the products of the peak-to-peak excursions and the associated time intervals.
