Spectral Run Analysis.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to study current quality control procedures for detecting when a process is no longer in control, develop a spectral analysis procedure for detecting when a process is no longer in control, and develop statistical confidence in such a procedure. Results are presented in graphical form for the two basic functions studied. Suggestions for further research in this area are presented at the end of the paper. (Author)
