Development of an Efficient Test System for Assessing Behavioral Effects of Exposure to Chemical Compounds.

Abstract

A modified shuttlebox avoidance procedure was tested and found to be more efficient than standard procedures for rapid screening of compounds for behavioral toxicity. The technique is useful for establishing dose-effect curves with compounds on which no behavioral data are available. (Author)
