Abstract
This document contains abstracts of presentations made at the Work-In-Progress Session of the Army Symposium on Solid Mechanics, 1974. These sessions were comprised of a series of brief presentations and discussions of current (but not necessarily complete) research relating to the theme of the symposium: 'The Role of Mechanics in Design - Structural Joints.' This meeting was held at Bass River (Cape Cod), Massachusetts on 10-12 September 1974. The proceedings of this symposium are published in a companion document, Army Materials and Mechanics Research Center Monograph Series Report, AMMRC MS 74-8 dated September 1974.
