18 - Foot Plug Trials.

Abstract

The Fiberglas wrapped plywood plug of Project S82/2-10 was tried in comparison with CG-16940 on 30 November 1960 in a three-foot chop. Engine RPM versus trim and speed trials were made on the 18-foot plug on 6 December 1960. Two separate trial weights were used; 2200 and 2800 pounds, gross.
