Applicability of ERTS to Antarctic Iceberg Resources,

Abstract

This investigation explores the applicability of ERTS to (a) determine the Antarctic sea-ice and environmental behavior that may influenc the harvesting of icebergs, and (b) monitor iceberg locations, characteristics, and evolution. Imagery sampling in the western Antarctic between the Peninsula and the Ross Sea is used in the analysis. (Modified author abstract)
