Energy Alternatives for California: The Current Crisis. I. The Impact of Arab Oil Export Policies on the California Energy System,

Abstract

The objectives of this presentation are to (1) indicate the impacts of the Arab embargo of oil shipments to the United States on the California energy system, (2) show how these impacts interrelate with the major trends in state energy supplies and uses, and (3) identify and measure the important energy shortage allocation problems facing federal and state officials.
