Organization Development Pilot Test for Army Personnel Center. Technical rept. No. 4. Understanding the Process of Change.

Abstract

The application of behavioral science principles to the management of organizations, usually referred to as organization development, has proved successful in a wide variety of settings. The U.S. Army has conducted a year's study to determine if these same approaches can apply in an Army setting. The Military Personnel Center was selected as the site for the demonstration project. The report documents the approach to this activity, the findings, conclusions, and recommendations for follow-up activities. (Modified author abstract)
