A Study of the East Los Angeles Youth Training and Employment Project,

Abstract

The objectives of this paper are to provide a profile of clients of the East Los Angeles Youth Training and Employment Project (YTEP) and to determine whether participating in YTEP correlates with success later achieved by the client. This paper also discusses the structure and policies of the war on poverty at the local and federal levels by providing a brief discussion of YTEP's history and environment.
