Abstract

The crystal and molecular structure of 8-eta-C5H5-8-Co-6,7-C2B7H11 has been determined by a complete three-dimensional x-ray diffraction study at -160C. Mechanistic aspects of the synthesis and chemistry of this compound are discussed in light of the atomic arrangement determined in this work. (Modified author abstract)
