Dumiload Transducer Tester.

Abstract

A DUMILOAD (DUmmy Mechanical Impedance LOAD) transducer testing device has been developed to allow the rapid testing of sonar transducer elements. The final report provides the theory, design philosophy, and test results of the DUMILOAD. Significant features of the device are its high power operation, nondestructive connect/disconnect technique, and rapid operation. (Author)
