Some Results of Physiological-Hygienic Investigations of Polar Clothing in Antarctic Conditions,

Abstract

Research was carried out into clothing worn by members of Antarctic expeditions. Tests were conducted on three types of clothing to test their heat-reflecting properties. The K.A.E. (complex Antarctic expedition) suit combined with a leather suit, is best, although it is cumbersome and quite heavy.
