Automatic Recording of the Ignition Delay Time of Explosives,

Abstract

An automatic apparatus for determining the ignition delay time of solid explosives with an accuracy less than or equal to 0.0001 sec is described. The experimental measured dependence of ignition delay time on temperature is presented for pure PbN6 with a density 3 g/cucm and sample diameters 1.5 and 3 mm.
