Developer Unit for Sensitivity Graph Films,
Abstract
A new system for developing sensitivity graph films is described. Besides the usual operating tank, additional tanks are fitted in order to speed up the developing process. A program unit is linked to the cassette mechanism for controlling length of development and drying, etc. This unit includes a thermal contactor in the tank, together with a programmer used to actuate a linkage; this is coupled to the bottom drain valve and allows the cassette to be raised or lowered with the film. The developing process is more accurate and strictly controlled.
