Communications Technology and the Congress,

Abstract

Communication technology is discussed as making more channels of visual and audio information available to more people at lower cost. Creating a television service to provide coverage of Congressional proceedings for radio, broadcast television, and existing cable systems is seen as an important step toward better communication with the American people.
