Rectangular Coaxial Skin Tester.
Abstract
The report describes a testing device for measuring the electromagnetic leakage through joints or access hatches in aircraft and missile skin samples. Operating instructions for the tester are provided, and the results of calibration tests with it are given. The tester operates on the principle of iris-coupled coaxial transmission lines. The test sample containing the leaky joint or access door is made into a common wall shared by two rectangular coaxial transmission lines. (Author)
