Engineering Utility and Sewage Lines in Permafrost Soil,

Abstract

Methods of laying and designing of pipelines of water supply, heat supply, and sewerage, as well as trunk petroleum and gas lines in permafrost conditions are presented in the book. Procedures for thermal calculation of pipelines and for supports and footings of engineering utility and sewage lines in various permafrost soil conditions are set forth. The theory of calculation is illustrated with examples from present-day design practice.
